Let's Have a Vegan Brunch

This location is shown only to members

Come join us for a vegan potluck brunch at Rachel's house in Greencastle. Rachel is planning to make pancakes and maybe granola. Lynn and Alan may bring a waffle iron and batter. Other ideas may be home fries or scrambled tofu. Of course you may have a favorite that you'd like to share. Regardless, come and enjoy.

For the potluck, please bring along your favorite healthy brunch dish (or whatever you feel like making) containing no animal products (no meat, fish, egg, dairy or honey) to serve at least eight to ten people. If possible, bring a list of ingredients and/or recipe to help those with allergies or food sensitivities.

We are a supportive group where we can openly discuss dietary issues, environmental and health concerns, and social challenges. We welcome your input and ideas for discussion topics, themes, demonstrations, and any challenges and/or successes related to a veg*n lifestyle.

Note: If possible, bring along your own place setting (plate, bowl, cup & silverware), to ensure we have enough to go around without using disposable stuff. Thanks!

We're looking forward to seeing you!

I love the brunch theme Rache! I'm sorry I won't be able to make it after all. Have fun and enjoy!

Hey everyone, another thing I thought could be fun with this theme is a taste test! Bring your favorite soymilk, rice milk, almond milk, hemp milk, or whatever milk so we can try different kinds.

Great idea. We make a lot of hemp, sesame/flax, and coconut milks around here... My favorite is almond, but Joe is allergic to nuts, so I don't make it often. Good stuff! Sunday is shaping up to be over-scheduled, so not sure we're going to make it now. Will update our RSVP as soon as I know. :-)
